Beaches and Cream is one of our favorite Disney restaurants. It is a tiny table service restaurant located near the pool between the Yacht Club and Beach Club. There is not a lot of seating and the restaurant doesn't take reservations, so unless you dine at off hours, you are probably in for a 30 minute wait or more.
Lauren and I checked in about 6 p.m. and were told the wait would be up to an hour. We had come prepared with good books to read, so we sat on the wooden chairs outside the restaurant that overlook the pool and waited for our table.
We were seated at the counter after about 45 minutes. We both ordered the single cheeseburger with fries ($8.99).
The burgers were garnished with cheese, lettuce, and tomato. The buns were lightly toasted and warm and really delicious. The fries were hot and crispy but soft inside - so good!
Overall rating: One of our favorites; hasn't disappointed yet after several visits
