Bojangles is a fast food chain specializing in chicken and biscuits. They have locations mostly throughout the southeastern US, from Florida to Pennsylvania.
We had never tried Bojangles but always saw them alongside the road as we travelled, so this trip we decided to give it a try. Neil and I split the two-piece dinner (white meat only) with creamy slaw and a biscuit ($6.59). The chicken was okay, but the outer breading was chewy rather than crispy, and also quite greasy. The slaw was okay but really peppery. The biscuit was good - light and fluffy and buttery. Lauren had the chicken leg kids meal with fries and a lemonade ($3.25). Her chicken was the same as ours. The fries were okay but nothing special.
Overall rating: Below average for fast food chicken
