Honeydukes, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, Orlando

7/03/2010

Lauren and Neil spent the morning at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Their first treat stop was Honeydukes. Honeydukes is a re-creation of the sweets shop from the novels. They have a wide variety of candy and treats, from chocolate frogs and peppermint toads to treacle fudge and fizzing whizzbees.

They chose to try the cauldron cake ($3.95).

The cauldron cake is described as a chocolate chip muffin dipped in chocolate and topped with chocolate whipped topping. This was a winner. It was really sweet, gooey, and chocolatey (and did get a bit messy - get lots of napkins). The chocolate whipped topping was really thick, more like a mousse. If you have a sweet tooth or are a chocoholic, you will enjoy this treat.
